Jellylearn awarded a research grant from Department for Transport (DfT)

Earlier this year, in conjunction with NTU as the lead on this project, we were awarded a grant from Department for Transport  (DfT) who were seeking proposals for an innovative technology solution to engage learner and young drivers and encourage and enable them to develop their skills of recognising hazards on the road in a variety of environments and conditions. Our proposal included a continuous 10 minute clip, produced using 3d animation that contained both theory questions and hazard perception in one single journey. This will then be researched by David Crundle at the NTU in conjunction with the DVSA to establish the benefits of this new and innovative approach. This project will be completed by the end of this year.
